Advantage Program
The Advantage Program is the ultimate career
enhancement program. It is designed for transitioning service members who
are interested in both private sector and Federal employment.
The Advantage Program combines the service elements of the Standard
Program and the Federal Program with other value-added services, to create
the most comprehensive marketing program that we offer.
The Advantage Program includes all of the following
services:
Federal Résumé-
Our Federal résumé writers will create a
résumé that is highly conducive to the Office of Personnel Management’s
Federal application system. Clients will receive a Federal résumé that
can be used to apply for a majority of Federal position and will eliminate
the need to submit an OF-612.
Federal Cover Letter-
Since some agencies will not allow applicants
to submit online résumés, our writers will also create a cover letter to
accompany the Federal résumé. The Federal cover letter will follow a
specific format, however it will still contain a compelling sales message.
KSA Critique and Editing Recommendations-
Federal job announcements will often require a
statement of knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA). These statements
serve as evaluation criteria and will occasionally be the deciding factor
between being rated “highly-qualified”, “qualified”, and “does not
qualify”. Clients' will have the opportunity to submit as many as five
KSAs for critique, announcement analysis, and editing recommendations.
Résumé Enhancement-
Our Creative Writing Dept. prepares skillfully
designed résumés that utilize the latest direct response techniques to
generate responses from prospective employers, i.e. interviews. We do not
simply list clients’ previous duties, job titles, accomplishments, and
then attempt to use as many ‘action’ verbs as possible. We produce
distinctive résumés that translate clients’ skills and abilities into a
language that taps into hiring managers’ needs and desires. We strive to
create persuasive sales documents, not advertising
documents.
Cover Letters-
Each client’s résumé is accompanied by a
well-written and extremely compelling cover letter. Our résumés and cover
letters are designed to work together. The cover letter methodically
states specific claims that appeal to hiring managers while the résumé
substantiates these claims with detailed evidence.
Distribution Service-
We will create a personalized database of 120
companies that are either in our professional relationship network or have been recently
researched and analyzed by our R&R department. Your résumé, along with a
personalized cover letter, will be sent to each company. Once your
materials have been deployed, we will send you the database of companies
and contacts that received them. Thus, you will have a record of each
person that contacts you.
Follow-up Letters-
One of the most important tasks of a successful job campaign is
following up. This is a time consuming and tedious process. With the
Advantage Program, we take care of this for you for up to three months.
